AEON JGC MALL
AEON JGC Mall is Located in the outskirt among commercial development area, residential mix, houses and industrial, and it was developed to carried a vision of socially contribution and spatially to the city, as well as economically and hope to be Jakarta's next generation of lifestyle.
Concept. AEON JGC is green certified project that emphasize the sustainable design as the main core. The building exterior is cover with selected green material. Minimize the use of glass wall, focusing only the necessary opening at the building's closed skin and a busy corner on a roundabout. A vertical green wall at the main façade required double panel system, leave void space in-between that allow the building to breathe. Using geotextile panel to distribute moisture and nutrients to the plant, also function as structural roots and allow it to grow ubiquitous.
Benefited from the large volume, this building will be accommodate approximately 300 new retailers and a roster of leisure and food operators. Floor area was divided into three court zone, east court, center court and west court.
The open mall create series of terrace and green spaces that are accessible. The terraces turn the vast roofs of the shopping center into open, green space in which the public can meet and relax. The restaurants and bars all spill out onto the terraces but can be accessed independently to the retail facilities through covered outdoor stair that navigate around and over the building
